LeBron James
LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers hosted the Philadelphia 76ers, coming off a huge win over the Atlanta Hawks. The Lakers have been playing quite decently over the past few weeks, improving their record. Unfortunately, the men in purple and gold will have to deal with the Play-In tournament before they can compete in the postseason.
With the current standings in place, the Lakers are expected to finish 9th in the West. As they approach the Play-In tournament, the squad has been struggling at times to get past tricky games. Following the tough win against the Sixers, James talked about the teams’ mistakes on both ends of the floor and how it has been affecting them with their current position.
James said:
We've been saying it for a while, but we don't have any room for error for now. You know, it used to be 'We don't have much room for error.' Now we don't have any room for error.LeBron James said
James himself has been playing dominantly of late, putting up 26.4 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 8.6 assists, while shooting 40% from deep, in the last five games. Apart from the King, Anthony Davis, Austin Reaves, and D’Angelo Russell have been the main contributors to the team. At this pace, the Lakers might not make their way to the 7th or 8th seed, though it won’t be impossible for them as well.

LeBron James and company look to prepare for a rematch
The Lakers are likely to face the Golden State Warriors in the Play-In tournament. But this would be the battle for the 8th seed. On the other hand, this will be a rematch of last year’s Western Conference Semi-Finals.
The Lakers have the best odds to win over the Dubs, moving on to the next round. They’ll then either face the Phoenix Suns or the Dallas Mavericks to advance to the playoffs, hoping to make a deep run this year. With just 12 games left in the season, the Lakers will have their task cut out. The squad needs to try and push their record to the 8th seed.
With no room for errors, the Lakers will look to be more disciplined for these last games of the season. It will be interesting to see how far LeBron James and the Lakers go by mid-April. The Lakers will be facing the Pacers next, which might be an even matchup for them.
