Tanika’s words came in response to another claim from a music industry insider
TANIKA Ray has shared a shocking insight into her time working with Diddy.
The dancer, who worked with Diddy, 54, back in the 90s, opened up about “trauma” she experienced at the time.

In a video shared on Instagram on Wednesday, Tanika, 52, first shared an interview with music journalist Touré, 54, who claimed that a male relative’s internship was ended after he refused to “stay the night” with Diddy.
After Touré’s words, Tanika came on screen, and said, “Yeah. You know we all have stories. Seriously we all have stories. Mine is horrific and only 5 people know it, and I probably will never tell it…
“But I also am very intimately aware that you tell your truth and you become victimized over and over… and mind you I then interviewed him many times. I have a lot of stories, y’all, I’ve been in Hollywood for 25 years, maybe longer, 30? I’ve got a lot of stories.”
The television star added, “Unfortunately – maybe I’ll write a book one day – but it just is so traumatizing that women just want to live every day and feel safe. And when we revisit and revisit we live in a state of victimhood, and nobody wants to live there.
“So for those like, ‘Why didn’t you say something then?’ because we just want to live, and we want to be happy, and we really want to forget the trauma.”
Alongside the video, Tanika wrote, “Oh yeah women hold a lot in order to function everyday in a man’s world. Unfortch we can compartmentalization out pain and carry on. We utilize the experience as a lesson and move differently.
“If I told my story in 1996 then What?? I just knew to avoid him at all costs. Yes I danced for him and kept my space. I was on the Vote or die airplane and kept my space. I interviewed him for his projects and kept my space.
“Nothing that is happening is surprising. Ladies keep space to heal and move on is key. Gathering to incriminate is goals. But in this wild world with a broke azz system… our healing is priority.”
Tanika concluded, “Shame on all those men that let this continue. Shame on me maybe for prioritizing my mental health some would say. But after working in a place that snatches souls… mine is in tact and of the light. I saved myself.
“Now if someone needs me to pile on my story, give me a call. But I think Cassie got it!!” she added, likely referring to Diddy’s former partner, Casandra Ventura.
Casandra, better known as Cassie, filed a lawsuit in November 2023, stating that she faced “a cycle of abuse, violence, and sex trafficking” until her relationship with Diddy ended in 2018.
USHER’S WORDS
While Tanika did not specify what her “horrific” story from the mid-90s was, Usher, 45, gave a similarly cryptic interview when asked about his experiences living with Diddy as a teen.
Usher recalled his time staying with Diddy in New York City when he was 13-14 while speaking on The Howard Stern Show 7 years ago.
“I went there to see the lifestyle, and I saw it… but I don’t know if I could indulge and understand what I was even looking at. It was pretty wild, it was crazy,” Usher claimed, after it was revealed that former CEO of Epic Records LA Reid encouraged the cohabitation.
Seriously we all have stories. Mine is horrific and only 5 people know it, and I probably will never tell it…

Usher later added, “What I did say is that there were very curious things taking place, and I didn’t necessarily understand it.”
When Howard, 70, asked if Usher would consider sending his own son to so-called “Puffy’s Flavor Camp,” the rap music star quickly responded “Hell no!”
HOMES RAIDED
While Cassy settled her lawsuit with Diddy in November 2023 just one day after the filing, other lawsuits were filed against the New York native just days later.
In one unresolved case, Joi Dickerson accused Diddy of drugging and raping her and filming the attack when she was a 19-year-old college student in January 1991.
A separate lawsuit claimed that Diddy and another man sexually assaulted a different woman and a friend in 1990 or 1991, and showed up at her apartment and beat her several days later.
A third woman, identified as Jane Doe in court documents, claimed that she was gang raped by three men including both Diddy and Harve Pierre, then-president of Bad Boy Entertainment, in 2003.
In February 2024, another lawsuit was filed against Diddy, with Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones, who helped produce Diddy’s most recent album, claiming that the mogul sexually harassed, drugged, and threatened him from September 2022 to November 2023 when they worked together.
Diddy has strongly denied the claims in all of the lawsuits filed against him.
Despite Diddy’s firm denial, two of his homes in Florida and Los Angeles respectively were raided by federal agents and the Department of Homeland Security on Monday, “as part of an ongoing investigation.”
