This diet was first promoted by Dr. Robert Atkins, who wrote the bestselling book about it in 1972. Kim Kardashian shared with ABC News that the Atkins diet was effective for her after giving birth to her first child in 2013.

According to Business Insider, Kim Kardashian lost 27kg after welcoming her second child in 2015 thanks to this diet.

In 2019, Kim Kardashian admitted to eating a chicken salad every day for a year. The meal included shredded chicken, noodles, and ginger soaked in sesame sauce.

In 2022, she made a new breakthrough in her weight loss journey. Sharing with Interview magazine, she revealed that she was eating “as plant-based as possible,” despite previously enjoying meat-based meals.
