Having healthy and glowing skin is the desire of many, and fortunately there are a few simple steps that you can take to improve your skin health.
1. Stay Hydrated: Drinking plenty of water throughout the day helps to keep your skin hydrated and looking its best. Aim to drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water daily.
2. Eat Nutrient-Dense Foods: Eating a balanced diet that is rich in nutrients, including fruits, vegetables, healthy fats, and lean proteins, can help to nourish your skin from the inside out.
3. Get Enough Sleep: Getting enough restful sleep is essential for healthy skin as it helps to reduce stress hormones and promote cell regeneration. Aim for around seven to nine hours per night.
4. Limit Sun Exposure: Sun exposure can damage the skin, leading to premature aging and wrinkles so it’s important to limit sun exposure when possible or wear sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher if you’re going outside for extended periods of time.

Cleansing and Exfoliating Regularly
Cleansing and exfoliating your skin on a regular basis is essential for maintaining healthy, glowing skin. Cleansers help to remove dirt, makeup, sweat and other impurities from the surface of the skin, while exfoliants help to eliminate dead skin cells that can clog pores and cause breakouts. Cleansing your face twice a day is usually sufficient, but depending on your lifestyle and environment you may need to cleanse more often. It’s also important to choose cleansers that are gentle and non-irritating.
Exfoliating your face can be beneficial for removing dirt, oil and dead skin cells in order to improve the texture of the skin. Exfoliation also helps to unclog pores and allow serums or moisturizers to penetrate more deeply into the skin. However, it’s important to be gentle when exfoliating as over-exfoliating can strip away natural oils from the face and cause dryness or irritation. Aim for no more than three times per week with an exfoliant that is appropriate for your skin type.
In addition to using a cleanser and an exfoliator regularly, it’s also important to use lukewarm water when cleansing or exfoliating as hot water can strip away natural oils from the face. Be sure not to scrub too harshly when cleansing or exfoliating either as this can damage the skin barrier which could lead to inflammation or breakouts. Always remember to follow
